Tukuwool fingering

Tukuwool Fingering is The Yarn where all began. Fingering is light, airy and soft in it’s roughness. This 2-ply yarn has quite tight and vivacious twist but it becomes even and  smooth after washing. Fingering works well with different gauges whether you want drapier or denser fabric. One skein is enough for a pair woman’s mittens, for a medium size sweater we recommend 5 – 7 skeins depending on the size and fitting.

We have chosen colors that are ageless without forgetting the beautiful greys. You can easily play with the colors from unique to classic color combinations.

Our shade card has now 29 colors: 9 neutral shades – 01, 03-09 are undyed natural shades but color 02 humu has a bit of dyed black in it to give the perfect light grey that we want. Shades 20-29 are bright dyed shades and H20-H32 are heathered.

Finnish wool has natural soil repellence and the best way to treat your beautiful knit is to air the knit. Wool likes cold and snow!
